A bit about me

As a teacher I've met hundreds of parents over the last 12 years who all want to support their children to be successful in School- not just academically, but also with the life skills and character values they need to thrive outside of School.
But what I saw again and again is parent's doing everything they were being told to do, but still feeling like they
❌ Didn't know what was happening in School
❌Weren't doing a good enough job
❌Wanted to do more but didn't know what to do
❌Wasted time and energy on things that didn't make a difference
❌Were leaving their child to do it on their own
Because once your child starts Secondary School, the communication and updates slow down.
What's going on in School becomes a mystery, and really knowing how your child is doing becomes a mystery- because there's no 'one' teacher who really knows them anymore.
This is why I developed my research backed Parent- First Approach that finally puts parents at the centre of their child's School journey to really support the whole family through Secondary School.
When parents are given support and guidance, their child's grades and confidence improve.

Is it just you?
You've got the uniform. Labelled everything. Read every email from school, twice, just in case you've missed something.
And you're still lying awake some nights wondering if you have missed something.
Whether other parents know something you don't.
Whether your child's actually going to be alright.
Here's the truth: you haven't missed anything huge.
Nobody hands parents a manual for this.
But there are a few small things that genuinely make the difference between a shaky start and difficult year or a settled start and successful year.
Most parents just never get told what they are.
